ARMENIAN CHORAL CONDUCTORS' ASSOCIATION

The Armenian Choral Conductors’ Association NGO was established in 2013 by over 30 renowned figures of choral art and by ACCA co-founders Tigran Hekekyan, Sona Hovhannisyan, Yuri Yuzbashyan, Sarine Avtandilyan, Kristine Sheroyan, to support choral art in Armenia. Being a link between choir and conductors of regions of Armenia and Diaspora choral communities, Armenian Choral Conductors’ Association creates a fertile ground for the further development of choral art. Collaborating with contemporary composers, various international organizations, as well as Chortownia foundation, INTERKULTUR, conducting projects as well as the «International Seminars for Choral Conductors» (2015), Regional festivals of Armenian Choral Music (2014-2021), the CD Collections «Sound of Europe II» (2015) and “Treasures of Music – Armenia” (2018), «In Terra Pax» International Choral Project (2016), «Sunday Choir» program (2016-2020), “World Choral Day – Armenia” (2017-2020), Armenian Choral Music days in Gliwice/Poland (2018), opening new doors to spread the choral art, conductors skills development and preservation of the Armenian choral music.

The mission is to preserve our rich choral musical heritage, educating the younger generation to encourage, as appropriate to educate the heir of music, fostering love towards Armenian spiritual ancient and choral music.

President and co-founder of the Armenian Choral Conductors’ Association is Kristine Sheroyan, 

Choir Conductor of “Tavush Diocese Children” choir and K. Sarajyan Music School choir, 

Lecturer of the Yerevan State Conservatory,

Head of Membership Operation at CHORALSPACE International Academy for Choral Arts.
